The League of Swedish Societies presents the Portland Midsummer Festival at Oaks Park.
Gather your family and Friends and join the League of Swedish Societies as we celebrate the 99th raising of the Majstang, an Oregon Heritage tradition.
Since 1928, the Swedish community in Portland has been coming together to join this important Swedish tradition.
There will be Beer and Swedish food and baked goods for purchase. Enjoy Free flower crown making, Kids activities, Kubb and family games. Select vendors will sell Swedish goods, and live music will play all day. The Timberhaven vikings will run demonstrations and tell you all about true viking history!
Don't miss the best part of the day, 1pm when we raise the Majstang and lead traditional dancing.
Look for the Swedish flags! Picnic areas 11,12 & 13.

Parking is $5 per car and meters are located throughout the parking area.
